This is an easy to install, and remove as needed, auxiliary gas tank that simply sits snugly in the floor board. The factory folding seat bracket secures to the tank and then is connected to the chassis using our supplied J Clamp. It can be used as a single OR dual setup by utilizing one or both floor boards for fuel. This tank utilizes the factory fill neck for re-fueling AND ventilation eliminating in cab fuel fumes that you'd experience with other kits. No routing fuel lines near drivetrain components, NO relocating wiring, NO relocating batteries. You are able to choose which side you'd like to use for your tank, passenger side or drivers side or BOTH. Included with every tank is a plug and play wiring harness complete with a momentary switch. This switch allows you to be worry free of accidentally turning on, or leaving your pumps activated and running. One switch controls multiple tanks alleviating any unneeded wiring. The high volume fuel pump can pump 1.25 gallons per minute. If the tank ever needs removed, simply cap the fill fitting with the supplied cap and remove the tank, easy as that.
RPM tanks, unlike other dangerous designs, utilize the factory tip over check valve. In the unfortunate case of a rollover, the RPM tanks would not be able to leak fuel creating a dangerous situation. This is done by the use of the factory breather system. Overfilling the factory tank is often a concern, but with RPM's unique set up, the OEM tank could reach maximum capacity and all of the excess fuel would simply be circumvented back to the auxiliary tanks, leaving your riding adventures worry free.
When running a single tank, we recommend the passenger side.
