This is a great windshield for your Kawasaki KRX 1000. The glass is laminated safety glass, the same as many automotive windshields. The powder coated metal frame is made from 14 gauge steel. The removable vents let is just enough airflow to help prevent some vacuum while keeping the wind off of you. The DOT rating is etched into the glass. The 16" hand operated driver's side wiper comes in handy on rainy days.

Extreme Metal Products Laminated Safety Glass Windshield 14019 Care Instructions:-
- Create a mixture of mild liquid dish soap and warm water (Recommended UTV windshield washing/cleaning solution)
- Or use Pre-made Kawasaki windshield solution option: 13946
- Take your side by side windshield cleaning solution and wash the UTV window(s), interior, and exterior
- Only use a clean soft, micro-fiber cloth to wipe gently and do not scrub- apply very light pressure ***Do not use a paper towel and Windex***
- Rinse UTV windshields well and air dry
- Let dry for at 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the humidity level of your location
