Shopping for a plow gets confusing fast when every brand uses its own mount. We carry kits for Polaris, Can-Am, Kawasaki, Kubota, Honda, Yamaha, CFMoto, Arctic Cat and John Deere machines, and the four examples below run from $749.99 for a Denali kit on a Can-Am Defender to $1,524.95 for an Eagle V-blade on a Kawasaki Mule. None arrives with a winch, whichever machine you drive.

What Actually Changes From One Brand to the Next

The blade and push tube are usually shared parts. A KFI Pro-S blade is the same whether it bolts to a Ranger or a Mule, and the same is true of Open Trail and Denali blades. The mount is the piece built for your machine, which is why every kit page asks for your model and year before it will let you check out. That also explains the price spread below: blade style and plow type drive the cost far more than the badge on your machine.

UTV Snow Plow Prices Across Four Brands

Each row shows one machine and one plow brand as a sample, not the only kit that fits. Straight-blade systems land within about $30 of each other across three different makes here, while a manual V-blade roughly doubles that.

Shipping, Because It Varies By Kit

Orders over $250 ship free here, and two of the four kits above land that way. Plow freight is the exception: the Open Trail kit adds $49.99 and the Eagle V-blade adds $150.00 in shared shipping. Check the listing before you assume a plow ships free.

Winches, Mounts and Angle Control

A winch between 2,500 and 3,500 lb handles blade duty, stepping to 6,000 lb if it also does recovery work. Winch mounts are machine-specific, same as plow mounts, and most kit pages sell both together. Start with our UTV winches if you have not added one yet.

KFI gives Polaris owners a choice worth understanding. Its Standard mount pins straight to the frame, calls for drilling the factory bumper and takes leveling kits, which suits a lifted or tracked machine. The Glacier Adaptor attaches to the push tubes and uses the factory bumper’s plow bar instead, so it goes on and off faster but adjusts less.

For angling from the seat, KFI and Open Trail both offer hydraulic actuator kits, and Denali’s Hydroturn swings the blade through a full radius in five seconds.

Lift Kits, Skid Plates and Tracks

Ground clearance decides which leveling kit you need. KFI sizes its four kits by measurement, covering machines from 8.5 inches up through 18. Denali sorts differently, with push tube lift kits for skid-plated machines in two clearance bands, 13 to 15 inches and 15 to 17. Tracks need extra reach on any brand: KFI and Open Trail extend the blade 10.33 inches, and Eagle sells a track-length push tube.

Plow or Blower

We stock UTV snow blowers as well, and they suit deep drifts and long runs where a blade would need several passes. They typically cost more and take more setup, so a plow is the simpler answer for most driveways and yards.

Winter Gear for Any Machine

Order Before the Snow Arrives

Plow freight slows down from November into January every year. Order in early fall and you will have time to fit the kit and test it. Install PDFs are posted on most listings.

The most common warranty is between 3-6 months, but Side by Side Source does offer extended 1- and 2-year warranties on all products if that is something you are interested in — you can add the extended warranty right at checkout.
